Blog Post Week #2

For the upcoming fitness appraisal, I want to improve on my cardiovascular endurance. I would also like to see an improvement in my times for holding positions like the wall sit and plank. I hope there’s a noticeable overall improvement from the last fitness appraisal I did.

            The point of doing a warmup before any physical activity is in the hopes of warming up your muscles and preparing them to be worked out.

            A successful warm up is one that makes you feel pumped up and ready to go. To know whether it is done well if your muscles aren’t as tense.

            The point of doing a cool down is give your muscles a health break from overly exhausting them, it’s important because without it your muscles can strain easy.
            The best time to stretch is before a workout so that you don’t pull a muscle during the activity. Thus, it’s important.
